Yah, yah.. Edison Chen sex scandal is 100 years old news. But the thing is, whenever I see him mentioned in the Singapore media such as the newspapers.. they always mention about Edison Chen + sex problem OR Edison Chen + sex therapy.

Whether he really have a sex problem or not, I don’t know. What I do know is PURELY BASED ON WHAT WE KNOW so far as fed to us by “Kira” and the media, he does not have a sex problem.

If I’m not wrong, Edison was brought up in Canada. Not to stereotype, but, many westerners do like to take pictures and videos of themselves and their partners and VOLUNTARILY uploads them on the internet. There are so many of these crappy homemade videos that it can’t even be considered pornography - because you can access FREE better quality porn online. No one even give two hoots about these nameless pricks (don’t mind the pun).

Now, one might argue that these westerners (or non-westerners) might have some sort of a sexual problem. Possibly… Exhibitionism? Voyeurism? Attention whorism?

So we know that Edison Chen’s pictures were stolen by someone else, so he isn’t qualified under those categories.

Let’s try to look at this from another perspective - technology and the internet.

If ten years ago, someone were to take thousands of photographs of oneself, he would probably have the mental disorder known as narcissist-ism - He/She is a narcissist that loves looking at his/her own pictures and wants the world to see how wonderful he/she is.

But are we going to label all bloggers that posts thousands of self-taken pictures NARCISSIST? I think most of these bloggers would consider a blog like mine, one void of pictures, to be boring. I think it is the accepted norm now to upload MANY pictures of oneself to the internet - whether on blogs, myspace, friendster or else where.

So, does Edison Chen really have a sex problem? Will Edison and his PR blame the sex scandal on a sex problem? Will people recognize that he is a childish, ignorant, stupid man that, like many others, use the technology to express or collect his “love” for women?

Valentine’$ day is just another day for most of us. For others, people like to spend money like water on Valentine’$ Day.

He is also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than Valentine of Rome. His relics are at the Basilica of Saint Valentine in Terni (Basilica di San Valentino).

The Catholic Encyclopedia also speaks of a third saint named Valentine who was mentioned in early martyrologies under date of 14 February. He was martyred in Africa with a number of companions, but nothing more is known about him.

Some sources say the Valentine linked to romance is Valentine of Rome, others say Valentine of Terni.[citation needed] Some scholars (such as the Bollandists[citation needed]) have concluded that the two were originally the same person. In any case, no romantic elements are present in the original Early Medieval biographies of either of these martyrs.

Valentine’$ Day, like many other holidays (i.e. Christmas) has been popularised so that consumers like me and you will spend more! Of course, I’ve spent about $400 on my dearest girlfriend for Valentine’$ Day, I think it’s a rip off considering prices rise by more than 20% for “Valentine’s Day specials” ….. I think its a conspiracy made by women. They just want more, and on a particular day i.e. Valentine$ day.

some people even spend Valentines day at home playing casino. I mean, online casino games of course. Yes yes, we have barely enough time for girlfriend… but playing some poker or blackjack can relief stress from work! But don’t play so much online casino till you ignore your girlfriend ok!

Many people bet on football, some just for fun and some for money. I’m not a great fan of football, so I’ve only tried betting a few times (but lost). There’s another sport I might consider watching actually… RUGBY!

I used to play rugby back in my secondary school days and I’ve sustained countless injuries from that sport, but I guess it was worth it. I’ve even had my shoulders dislocated before! You can’t catch Europe’s premier international rugby tournament in Singapore (I’m not sure about ESPN though) so I had to find other sources to watch online rugby games ! I’m actually a bit sick of the Edison Chen thing, so watching Rugby would be very entertaining.

RBS 6 nations provides information about the tournaments and even have podcasts section for fans! I’m not sure if you can get the full show from the website, but there is a section where they show highlights from all the matches! Of course my favorite team has got to be ENGLAND! They will definitely win the tournament! Go England Go!!!

After reading some of the blog reactions with regards to the Edison Chen, Gillian Chung and Cecilia Cheung sex video scandal, I actually do feel bad. If my girlfriend, daughter, mother, or even just an acquaintance kenna something like this, I wouldn’t have been so quick to join in sex scandal discussion and posting link to where you might get the pictures.

However, a good friend of mine pointed out a good reason. The reason why we’re so interested in this sex video scandal is because they are celebrities. Yes, they deserve privacy and a life. HOWEVER, they should have been more careful with such material and if they aren’t then they should have known the consequences.

In the last Gillian Chung scandal, she was caught undressing with a peep camera. She said that they did their best they could and changed at a designated area for changing a.k.a. changing room. This time she and the other girls allowed Edison Chen to take pictures and videos of them. Have they not considered the risk of it leaking out?

The problem with this matter is not that they made sex videos - but they made sex videos and don’t know how to hide them properly! Edison Chen OWES these girls an apology!

I apologise for getting too excited over this matter and posting the links to where you can get hold of the pictures. But Edison Chen owes apologies to Gillian Chung, Cecilia Cheung, BoBo - and their friends, family, fans.

Ok, since I can’t afford a PSP at the moment, I’m still stuck playing games on my computer. Well I guess there are fun games on the internet as well. I love playing pool with my friends during my polytechnic days and guess what you can play billiard online

I don’t think I’m ready for any billiard tournaments yet, but I guess I’ll just have to train harder.

I’m thinking I should try out online pool too, especially when they give you the option to bet with money! Casinos is mostly luck and statistics, but at least playing 3D pool is a skill that you can train! Even if I can never beat Princessa in real life pool, I’m sure it doesn’t mean I will be bad at online pool as well right? (more…)
