Yah, yah.. Edison Chen sex scandal is 100 years old news. But the thing is, whenever I see him mentioned in the Singapore media such as the newspapers.. they always mention about Edison Chen + sex problem OR Edison Chen + sex therapy.
Whether he really have a sex problem or not, I don’t know. What I do know is PURELY BASED ON WHAT WE KNOW so far as fed to us by “Kira” and the media, he does not have a sex problem.
If I’m not wrong, Edison was brought up in Canada. Not to stereotype, but, many westerners do like to take pictures and videos of themselves and their partners and VOLUNTARILY uploads them on the internet. There are so many of these crappy homemade videos that it can’t even be considered pornography - because you can access FREE better quality porn online. No one even give two hoots about these nameless pricks (don’t mind the pun).
Now, one might argue that these westerners (or non-westerners) might have some sort of a sexual problem. Possibly… Exhibitionism? Voyeurism? Attention whorism?
So we know that Edison Chen’s pictures were stolen by someone else, so he isn’t qualified under those categories.
Let’s try to look at this from another perspective - technology and the internet.
If ten years ago, someone were to take thousands of photographs of oneself, he would probably have the mental disorder known as narcissist-ism - He/She is a narcissist that loves looking at his/her own pictures and wants the world to see how wonderful he/she is.
But are we going to label all bloggers that posts thousands of self-taken pictures NARCISSIST? I think most of these bloggers would consider a blog like mine, one void of pictures, to be boring. I think it is the accepted norm now to upload MANY pictures of oneself to the internet - whether on blogs, myspace, friendster or else where.
So, does Edison Chen really have a sex problem? Will Edison and his PR blame the sex scandal on a sex problem? Will people recognize that he is a childish, ignorant, stupid man that, like many others, use the technology to express or collect his “love” for women?
Some of you might already have read or heard about this else where, I’m sorry I’ve been slow to find this out. EDISON CHEN SHOWS HIS PHOTOS TO HIS FRIENDS!!!???
Yesterday, the Hong Kong media also listed 14 other stars, including Maggie Q, Nikki Chow, Rain Li and Rosanne Wong of pop duo 2R, who are at risk of being “exposed”.
Taiwan’s Jolin Tsai and Elva Hsiao also made the list.
All of them have one thing in common – they have been linked romantically to Edison at some time.
One of the actor’s close friends claimed to the media that Edison likes to take intimate photos with his women and he would show them to a select group of friends.
This pal added that at least 14 female celebs have taken such photos with Edison.
But some of those listed, like Rosanne and Nikki, have denied any connection to the scandal.
Look, if he took intimate pictures and his computer got hacked… Ok la, he should have been more careful and the computer repair company was at fault.
Now the news say that one of his close friend have SEEN these intimate pictures he took with various celebrities?
Edison, you really went too far la. Take pictures of your girlfriends and share with your close buddies? You damn bastard leh! Why never share with me? How come I don’t have guy friends that share with me their girlfriend’s naked pictures - probably because my friends are all nice and gentlemanly. AND YOU DON’T SHARE YOUR GIRLFRIEND NAKED PICTURES WITH YOUR CLOSE FRIENDS! THAT IS WRONG !!! I’ve lost what little respect I had for Edison Chen as a man. A GENTLEMAN NEVER TELL!!!!

I’ve managed to secure 2 weeks holiday to accompany my brother over to Australia. He’ll be attending University of Queensland this coming February! I’ve only been to Sydney before and as I recall, everything is expensive in Australia!
I think I’m just going to accompany him for a few days, just to help him settle down and then I’m going on a HOLIDAY! I haven’t had a holiday in a few years (not counting Malaysia and Thailand)… I want to go to New Zealand!!! I think flights to New Zealand are getting cheaper now since it isn’t the peak season and the weather in New Zealand will definitely be better than in Australia!
I’ve heard that the Kiwis are very friendly to tourists and New Zealand is trying to attract foreigners to migrate over. If everything goes well, I should be parasailing and wind surfing there end of this month! I hope my brother will cope with settling down himself, he’s got rejected for a room in the school’s hostel and he’s still finding another accommodation. Too bad for him, I’m going take my well deserved holiday. I intend to travel to Auckland and Christchurch but I’m still surfing on the internet for the cheapest air tickets and accommodation.. if anyone have any good websites or travel agencies to introduce to me, please let me know! Now Edison released a video of him apologizing to everyone he’s hurt. Damn right he should apologize to me and the rest of the other guys out there.
I don’t think taking sexy pictures with your significant others is such a bad thing, keep as memories? Next time when we old already, the skin saggy (both the guys and the girls!) then nothing much to see already very sad right? But these things are meant to be personal things. Edison Chen taught all the other girls out there a very good lesson, don’t let your boyfriend take pictures of you! In fact girls should just use the spy cam detector and make sure your boyfriend is not using a spy cam on you while having sex. You also shouldn’t ever undress in front of any men at all times - not even while doing it.
I suggest future celebrities and politicians wanna be, please delete all your naked pictures AND pictures of you doing stupid things like digging your nose, french kiss a person of the same sex, sticking out middle finger etc.
I’m so disappointed that this sex scandal of Gillian Chung and Edison Chen have become so ugly on the blogosphere. Don’t mind me, sex scandals ARE suppose to be scandalous but saying that she don’t deserve our sympathy and she’s actually a sex crazed whore? Give the girl a break man !
Okay back to the current story. I think it is funny how Twins, Gilliang Chung had it all coming for her. She screams and cried when someone tried to voyeur on her. Okay, it is NOT right to voyeur. I am 10000% against that and the person who took her “sexy” photos in Genting is a bastard and ought to go to hell. But how can she cry that she is all-so-moral and then have videos of her having sex recorded? it is perverted if you ask me. I am not against her having sex but video-ing them?? that’s all a different story mate.
From personal experiences and closest friends experiences, it is usually those o-so-holy type that would end up becoming the wildest and hardest to control when it comes to sexual matters. Why is that so? I mean if you read into Chua Soi Lek’s incident, at least he comes out and tell the truth. He is a man, and he has his needs. People sabotaged him. In this incident, you have this holy girl who is so innocent and yet do such things.
You be the judge! For one, I won’t sympathise her, never like any hypocrite.
I saw this video from a blogger which was a five minutes clip mocking William Hung and “William Hung is from Singapore” because he sings really poor.
I’ve got a few things to say to that, firstly the stand up guy (Pablo Francisco) is NOT funny at all. I watched the entire clip and maybe giggled once. What’s so funny about some guy making fun of another guy? That’s what stereotyped American footballers do to the nerds in high school, or in a more local context, that’s what aunties at the wet supermarket do.
How can you call yourself a stand up comedian when all you do is laugh at the OBVIOUS reasons for laughing at William Hung. It’s like pointing out that a platypus has a duck’s beak HAHA - not funny.
I’ve recently encountered two ladies that I had to lias with for business. They seem so nice and friendly and helpful at first. Then they started to tell me half-truths and misleading information, which could jeopardize the business plans. I was ****ing pissed off with them.

Now I have the impression that City harvest Church people are all lying, misleading, annoying, irritating people - may be they are. I’m sorry for stereotyping, but if you think your business dealings would require you to do things against your religion (i.e. purposely lying to others), THEN DON’T TELL PEOPLE WHAT CHURCH YOU ARE FROM. That PRC guy was at fault by creating a flaming thread HOWEVER, the response given by us Singaporeans may have just proved his point.
1. Hey give that guy some credits. Most of our forefathers ARE from China.
2. I guess most people don’t believe in blood lines and surnames anymore, otherwise they would not be making comments like “My forefather from China, but I’m not from China”. Which is true, but your heritage is afterall from China.
3. People telling the China man to type/speak better English. … scroll down the pages and you will see 10 times as many Singaporeans that cannot spell or type at all. I had to squint to read some of the responses.
4. Us Chinese did take over Singapore. Infact, we’re slowly taking over majority of Asia. Just look at the richest people in the world… many of them Chinese.
I was talking to Misscel and Princessa the other day on MSN and we were talking about online chat rooms and meeting up with people from chat rooms. Misscel then mentioned that she never met anyone she spoke to online before. Princessa corrected her because they have been to the Singapore Slingers events where they actually met other online bloggers.
