February 9, 20082 weeks holidays!!
I’ve managed to secure 2 weeks holiday to accompany my brother over to Australia. He’ll be attending University of Queensland this coming February! I’ve only been to Sydney before and as I recall, everything is expensive in Australia!
I think I’m just going to accompany him for a few days, just to help him settle down and then I’m going on a HOLIDAY! I haven’t had a holiday in a few years (not counting Malaysia and Thailand)… I want to go to New Zealand!!! I think flights to New Zealand are getting cheaper now since it isn’t the peak season and the weather in New Zealand will definitely be better than in Australia!
I’ve heard that the Kiwis are very friendly to tourists and New Zealand is trying to attract foreigners to migrate over. If everything goes well, I should be parasailing and wind surfing there end of this month! I hope my brother will cope with settling down himself, he’s got rejected for a room in the school’s hostel and he’s still finding another accommodation. Too bad for him, I’m going take my well deserved holiday. I intend to travel to Auckland and Christchurch but I’m still surfing on the internet for the cheapest air tickets and accommodation.. if anyone have any good websites or travel agencies to introduce to me, please let me know!
