So, I’ve been doing some research online regarding this topic. Princessa told me not to worry about it and just blog like I usually do. I’ve found some useful tips on the internet that would help pagerank and traffic (although I’ve not proved that it works yet).

Secondly, trackbacks can be a useful way to have backlinks to your site. Trackback is basically a method of posting about someone’s post, and your blog address appears on the other person’s post indicating that it was tracked-back. If your blog/website do not have an automatic trackback function, you could use one like The Wizbang® Tech Trackback Pinger which send a trackback pings to any blog that accepts Trackbacks.
Next step, where are we going to find blog posts that are relevant to what we blog about so we can link our trackbacks? Google Blog Search !

I know some people that surf places like Ping.sg or other sites that shares bloggers’ post entries, they would then ‘follow’ some popular blog topics to write about. I guess you could try that too.

Ahhh! I usually post the entry then go back and check if I did anything wrong… sometimes a few days later then I realise I haven’t put the entry in the appropriate category.
